This Weekend

It’s getting closer to Christmas people! So that means even I, who don’t believe in all the commercialism…am being pressured to go buy gifts for my loved ones. I am the type of person who will by people I like stuff all throughout the year, so I shouldn’t be falling for this. But since I am, I’ll be up in somebody’s mall or Target this weekend.

I also need to finalize my New Year’s plans. Thanks to my girl Rhyan, I learned some hot new exotic massaging tips…unfortunately I have nobody to try them on. So send me some options! I have a couple, but we’ll talk about that later.

I’ll be in the crib tonight watching What Not To Wear and Family Guy. I don’t really feel like going to the usual spots tonight. Maybe I’ll retwist my hair, who knows. Another new cartoon I love: Foster's Home For Imaginary Friends.

But for you club heads: Coliseum, Cove, Opium and the Brownstone has a new thing until 2:30 in the morning…somebody check that out and get back to me!

The Black Nativity will be showing all weekend at the King Arts Complex. For more info on that, check out this website.

Oh busy day! Shopping, parties, concerts!

I am trying to check out Gwen Stefani featuring Ciara at the Schottenstein’s Arena at 7:30 p.m. On the Ticketmaster site, you can enter a promo code and get tickets for $22. Who has the code??? If somebody can come up with a code, I’ll take you out for a round of drinks…how ‘bout that!

Happy Birthday to my boys Reuzilla and V and my girl Meghan…they’ll be having a mansion party. If you want to come, you’ll have to hit me up personally and I’ll get you details.

Also, my girl Shauntaye just graduated from Ohio Dominican and is joining the crazy world of PR and Communications…congrats! You can party with her at the Opium.

I want to talk somebody into going to the Skate on the State downtown. Basically, the city has built a temporary ice-skating ring and erected a Ferris wheel on the Statehouse lawn. I can skate for shit, but as a culture vulture, I have to do it all. Click here for more info.

Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, the live version, will be put on at the Riffe Center Sunday at 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. and Monday at 7 p.m. My sis and I love the movie (the original, not the one featuring Johnny Depp as Michael Jackson) and you probably do too, so come check it out!

Mood for Today: Well-rested. I cut off my phone and went to sleep at 10 last night.

Song for Today: Travelling Without Moving, Jamiroquai. It's a throwback, I know!
